Default Kind of cool

When I was in high school, my mom bought a desk set and nightstand for me. I brought it with me to Utah and when my niece was about 7 or 8 I passed it onto her. Well, I got a phone call from my brother last week asking me if I wanted it back. Ironically, its being passed to Sierra at age 8. It needs a little touching up, but is still in really good condition. We got it set up in her room and it was nice having it back with us again. Dezi's dresser is also the same three drawer dresser I had when I was little. Both my kids have used it. They just don't make stuff like they used too.
Do you have anything that keeps getting passed around your family or something your kids use that you have used when you were younger too?

Oh that is cool! I have a cookie monster chair that I have had for probably 23 years. I am 26 now. When I moved out of my dads house, I took that chair with me, and to this day I still have it and Draven loves sitting in it. I love that I have something I can pass on to him, and I hope he can pass on to his kids (ok....that is so far down the line..lol)

My mom has her dresser and mirror dresser that she got when she was a teenager and I used it as a teenager. Right now it is in her guest room but it is mine for when my kids are older...

My dining room table is one of those that the sides fold down and up. It can go from sitting 2 to sitting 10 or 12. That was passed down to me from my grandparents. I will pass it down to Caitlin later.I also have my mom and dads dresser that they got when they were married. It was passed to me at 16 and now Brenden and Jeremy use it. I also have a winnie the pooh blanket from when I was a baby and all of my children have used it. If and when I get preggo again the new baby will use it too. After that I will give it to which ever one has a baby first, way way later lol. They just don't make things like they used to back then. Oh and I also have some dishes that my dad brought back form Taiwan when I was 7 when he did his year tour away from us. They gave that to me. There packed away though.

I have an old wooden desk that I used as a kid. My little sister then used it and then my other little sister used it. She is now 17 and just got a new "grown up" desk, so my old desk has now been passed onto Cali.
